End of Summer Book Giveaway

GIVEAWAY STARTS FRIDAY, SEPT 7TH AND ENDS SUNDAY, SEPT 16TH

Summer means reading to me! I enjoy lounging at poolside with a gripping murder mystery. Just as good is sitting on my front porch early in the morning, before the temperatures rise, with a riveting suspense novel and a strong cup of tea. To celebrate summer reading I’m giving away an attractive pdf copy of each of the novels in my Sanctuary Point Series, set in the mid-1940s on the south shore of Long Island.

Three winners will be selected based upon the most interesting comment. I will have a two impartial judges pick the winner. Those impartial judges are my husband and my teenage daughter.

This giveaway is also an “event” on Goodreads and is promoted on Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking and media outlets.

  2. Sounds fun, Nike, I’m in the middle of book one now! Not good at interesting comments, (about the books or what?) but like the the old lady who said ‘if I’d known I was going to live so long, I’d taken better care of my money.” Hindsight is 100%, of course.

  10. Hi. I like to win free books but I like to read mystery and figure out who did it or the reason behind someone’s behavior in the crime story. I hope to make mine that much more believable and readable. I don’t know how to enter but if I get the chance to be entered I would very much like to read your book. Is it in the Nook for Barnes and Noble by any chance? I have a Nook that I read and can download it.

    1. You’re entered by your comment. Best wishes on the contest. I wish you success in your writing. I think the best education a writer can get is to read other writers who they enjoy in the genre in which they write. Read the novels in your genre that you can’t put down. Those are the ones speaking to you. The winner gets a pdf. I think you can download that to Nook. I know you can to Kindle.

I would love to win one of these books. I haven’t read any of the authors books, but I love to read crime fiction, and these sound great.

  18. My independent panel of judges (my husband and daughter) have been slow to chose. Work demands and school projects got in the way. But they’re reading over comments today and I willl be sending out three pdf copies of the novel.

  19. Well there was a tie. Hubby and darling daughter agreed on two comments but had a difference of opinion on the last one. So I actually gave out four books instead of three.

And the winners are Denise Glisson, Carol Ann Erhardt, Darlene Keith, Nancy.
